Fenerbahce Star Valbuena Joins Arsenal Ace Lacazette, Man United Forward & Kylian Mbappe In L’equipe Team Of The Week Front Four

Fenerbahce managed to fight back from two goals down away to bitter-rivals Galatasaray to draw the Intercontinental Derby 2-2 on Friday in the Super Lig.

Valbuena launched the comeback when he netted from the penalty spot.

The experienced attacking midfielder put on an impressive display for the Yellow Canaries and was rewarded by the L’equipe newspaper by making their Team of the Week.

The goal was his first of the season for the Yellow Canaries.

The 34-year-old now has one goal and one assist in eight appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions.

Valbuena struggled for playing time under the stewardship of former manager Phillip Cocu but his successor Erwin Koeman started him in his first game in charge.

Valbuena was given a No 10 role in the attack with Manchester United winger Anthony Martial and PSG star Kylian Mbappe out wide.
