Fenerbahce head into the Europa League clash against Manchester United on Thursday 20 October with a mounting injury crisis.
The Yellow Canaries will be without star midfielder Ozan Tufan who has been ruled out for two months after picking up an injury over the international break.
The 21-year-old had established himself as a key member of the team and had attracted interest from clubs across Europe including United who have scouted the young Turkish international a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-football.com.
The Istanbul giants received more bad news after it was revealed that creative midfielder Salih Ucan will be sidelined for the United game. The 22-year-old picked up a knock during the international break and will be out for at least 10 days.
Fenerbahce boss Dick Advocaat will experiment with Alper Potuk ahead of holding midfield duo Mehmet Topal and Josef de Souza against Alanyaspor over the weekend in a bid to reshuffle his pack ahead of the Europa League game.
To make matters worse Fenerbahce could be without in form winger Jeremain Lens. The former Sunderland man spent the international break recovering from a hamstring strain and he will definitely miss the weekend game but faces a race against time to regain match fitness before the United match.
The Dutch star has hit the ground running at his new club scoring six times and providing four assists in what has otherwise being a rather disappointing start to the season for the Istanbul giants.
