However, the Gunners are not alone in their pursuit of Kadıoğlu. Serie A club Napoli is also keen on the versatile defender, potentially sparking a bidding war between the two clubs.
Fenerbahçe is expected to take a strong stance in negotiations, with a reported €30 million fee being their asking price. This hefty price tag, coupled with competition from Napoli, could make securing Kadıoğlu a difficult task for interested parties.
The Yellow Canaries president Ali Koc does however, appear open to selling the full-back and acknowledged he could leave at the end of the season.
“Ferdi is my first international transfer. We had it for the number ten position. It developed so well that… It’s time to write a happy but new story in Fenerbahçe. Ferdi, 24 years old. He goes by putting it on every match. My guess and opinion is that he will sail a new story at the end of the season,” he said.
The versatile defender who can also play on the wing and midfield is attracted growing interest after an impressive few seasons. He is likely to be part of the Turkish national team setup at Euro 2024 this summer.
Kadıoğlu, who has been with Fenerbahçe since 2018, boasts an impressive record of 16 goals and 20 assists in 184 appearances. His contract with the Turkish club remains valid until 2026.
