Fenerbahce’s Polish midfielder, Sebastian Szymanski, has emerged as a transfer target for several Premier League clubs, according to reports according to reports in the Turkish and Spanish media.

Aksam and Totofichajes are both reporting that Szymanski is attracting growing interest from England after an impressive season at Fenerbahce.

The 24-year-old’s strong performances for Fenerbahce haven’t gone unnoticed, with reports suggesting interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Szymanski has been a key figure for the Turkish club this season, featuring in 46 matches and contributing an impressive 12 goals and 14 assists.

Spanish outlet Todofichajes claims that Tottenham are currently considered the frontrunners in the race for Szymanski’s signature. While specific details regarding their offer haven’t been disclosed, it appears they have taken the first step towards acquiring the midfielder.

Szymanski only joined Fenerbahce at the beginning of the season from Dinamo Moscow, signing a contract that keeps him with the club until 2027.

This could potentially complicate any transfer negotiations, with Fenerbahce likely demanding a significant fee for their prized midfielder.

Whether Szymanski opts to remain in Turkey or pursue a new challenge in the Premier League remains to be seen. However, the reported interest from these established clubs highlights his talent and potential.

The Polish international is still under contract until 2027 so Fenerbahce are in a strong negotiating position this summer if they do decide to sell.

Fenerbahce are currently locked in a two horse title race with rivals Galatasaray and are also competing in the European Conference League.
