Feyenoord 2-0 Rijeka: Kazim-Richards gets another assist [divider]
Feyenoord beat HNK Rijeka 2-0 to move into second place in Europa League Group G.
Kazim-Richards setup Karim El Ahmadi with the opening goal on eight minutes with a well timed header playing his teammate into the opposition penalty area.
Lex Immers doubled the home sides lead just 12 minutes later, with Jens Toornstra providing the assist.
Richard’s and Immers had a number of other chances in the later stages of the game but were unable to extend Feyenoord’s lead further.
The Turkish international forward now has three goals and two assists in 7 starts for Feyenoord.
Richards joined Feyenoord on loan from Bursaspor this summer.
The win was Feyenoord’s third consecutive Europa League home victory and took them to six points just two behind leaders Sevilla.
Europa League champions Sevilla beat Standard Liege 3-1 in the other Group G game.
Feyenoord welcome Sevilla next on 27 November 2014 while Rijeka face Standard Liege.
