Feyenoord 2-0 Sevilla: Kazim Richards with fourth assist in five games [divider]
Feyenoord beat Sevilla 2-0 at the De Kuip stadium to clinch a place in the Europa League Round of 32.
The home side moved above Sevilla in Group G with goals from Jens Toornstra and Karim El Ahmadi.
Turkish international Kazim Richards setup El Ahmadi with seven minutes to play for the games second goal.
Kazim Richards has now provided four assists in his last five games. The 28-year-old three goals and four assists in all competitions this season.
El Ahmadi thanked Kazim Richards for his assist following the game.
“I know that Colin Kazım Richards often wins his duels in the air, so I stayed close to him and thankfully he passed the ball on to me,” El Ahmadi said.
“I didn’t waste any time thinking, I just shot immediately. Luckily the keeper was slightly out of his goal so I could lift the ball over him.”
Feyenoord travel to Belgium next to face Standard on 11 December.
