Feyenoord v Man City – Confirmed lineups – Star playmaker could make first appearance in 10 months
Manchester City take on Dutch champions Feyenoor in their opening Champions League clash at the De Kuip stadium tonight.
Germany international Ilkay Gundogan has been named in the match-day squad but will head into the game on the bench.
Gundogan could make his first appearances for City in over nine months if Pep Guardiola decides to use him.
The 26-year-old suffered a knee ligament injury back in December during a clash with Watford FC and has not played since.
Guardiola included Gundogan in the match day squad against Liverpool on Saturday but he was not given playing time.
Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson wass an injury doubt going into the game following his collision with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane on the weekend but he will start tonight.
Aguero, De Bruyne and Jesus will lead the attack for the visitors.
