‘Focusing solely on Manchester United’ – Inter & Turkish league champions suffer blow in race for star striker
Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been closely linked with a summer exit this window.
Inter Milan and Turkish league champions Besiktas have expressed an interest in the France international.
Martial’s cousin – who also happens to be a journalist – confirmed Inter interest in the striker but also underlined that his sole focus is on United.
The Tweet translates in English to: “I can confirm Inter’s interest in Anthony, however, he’s focusing solely on Manchester United. His thoughts are fixated on pre-season with United.”

Je confirme l’intérêt de l’Inter pour Antho. Mais sa tête est à Manchester et il est concentré pour faire une bonne préparation.

The arrival of Romelu Lukaku has pushed Martial further down the pecking order at United and if Ivan Perisic ends up joining the Red Devils Martial could find it even harder to lock down regular playing time.
Besiktas hope to offer Martial an option to get out and secure a first-team role.
Turkish newspaper Milliyet claim that Jose Mourinho has given the 23-year-old the green light to leave.
The report states that the Portuguese manager wants assurances that Martial will join a club that will offer first team football next season.
Martial is currently on tour with United in the US. The French forward has yet to start a game for the Red Devils since making the trip.
As far as the tour sides have been going……..everyone is getting some minutes on the field at some stage so a starting berth means nothing. As for your comment on “pecking order”,Lukaku isn’t playing in Martial’s position and when and if we ever sign Perisic,it will be upto Martial to put in performances where Mourhino won’t be able to drop him to the bench
