Former Barcelona target unable to find a club

Former Barcelona target Muhammed Demirci is currently on the hunt for a new club after being sent back to Besiktas from Turkish second division side Gaziantep BB.
Demirci was handed a trial at Barcelona’s youth team La Masia at the age of 16. However, Demirci opted to return to Besiktas despite being offered a contract at the La Liga club.
The player once dubbed ‘Turkish Messi’ subsequently went on to make just 14 appearances for Besiktas and aged 19 was loaned out to Gaziantep BB at the start of the season.

The Turkey U20 international has one and a half years remaining on his contract with the Eagles.
Gaziantep BB decided to terminate the young midfielders contract following a string of disappointing displays.
Demirci made one assist in 14 appearances for Gaziantep BB in all competitions.
