Beşiktaş beat Başakşehir 2-0 at the Atatürk Olympic stadium to move into first place in the league.
Mario Gomez was the star of the show scoring a brace on his first start for his new club but Gökhan Töre put in a performance worthy of contention for man of the match.
Töre setup Gomez’s second goal after an explosive counter-attacking run from just past the half-way line before threading the ball through to the Germany international who finished in style.

The 23-year-old winger now has four assists in all competitions this season – more than any other Super League player.
Töre tormented the Kasımpaşa defence providing the most key passes (5) and the highest number of successful dribbles (4) over the course of the 90 minutes.
The Turkish international winger started his career at Chelsea as a youth player and was a star of the FA Youth Cup winning side of 2010.
Töre left the Blues in 2011 to join Hamburg and joined Beşiktaş from Rubin Kazan for £4 million last summer.
The explosive winger still has four-years left on his contract and a total of 13 goals as well as 23 assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles.
