Mesut Özil has participated in his first pre-season training program this year since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid.

The Germany international arrived on the last day of the transfer window in 2013 and missed a large part of the previous pre-season after winning the World Cup in Brazil. With a solid pre-season under his belt, Özil should hit the ground running come the start of the Premier league.
