Fulham join Crystal Palace in race to sign 39-cap Turkey international this summer

Newly promoted Premier League side Fulham have joined the race to sign Turkey international midfielder Ozan Tufan.

We recently reported that Crystal Palace were locked in a race with Celta Vigo for Tufan however, Fenerbahce put transfer talks on hold following the departure of manager Aykut Kocaman.

The Yellow Canaries have subsequently appointed Philippe Cocu as their new manager.

A source close to the club has revealed to Turkish-Football that Fulham has enquired about the availability of the 23-year-old.

Per the source, Fenerbahce are willing to listen to offers for Tufan this summer.

Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet Yeni Akit has linked Tufan with an unlikely move to Fenerbahce’s bitter rivals, Galatasaray.

Ozan Tufan recently took to social media to share photos of him back in first-team training.

The 23-year-old joined Fenerbahce for £6 million from Bursaspor back in 2015. Tufan provided two assists and scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season.
