Fulham Make €15m Offer For Besiktas Striker, Black Eagles Want More

Fulham reportedly want to sign Besiktas rising star Semih Kılıçsoy this summer according to the Fanatik newspaper.

Per the source, despite Besiktas’ struggles this season, 18-year-old striker has emerged as a bright spot. His impressive performances, contributing to 13 goals in 30 games, have attracted interest from England.

Fulham, a Premier League club, reportedly made a surprise approach for Kılıçsoy. Their offered transfer fee of €15 million, however, fell short of Besiktas’ valuation.

Kılıçsoy has quickly become a fan favorite with his clinical finishing and skillful play. The young forward has started consistently for Besiktas this season, showcasing his talent across all competitions.

While Besiktas are out of the title race, Kılıçsoy’s development offers a positive outlook for the future. The club clearly values their young star and has no intention of letting him go for a price they deem insufficient.

Fulham’s enquiry suggests there could be more interest in Kılıçsoy. Besiktas have indicated they would consider a significantly higher offer, setting the stage for a potential bidding war in the summer transfer window.

The Black Eagles will consider offers for the right price as they are a club in financial difficulty. However, the Istanbul giants are also in the process of rebuilding the team for next season.

The young striker is seen as an important part of the rebuild process after a disappointing season.

The club will try to keep hold of Kılıçsoy for another season if they do not receive an offer too good to refuse this summer.

The forward is hoping to be part of the Turkish national team squad for Euro 2024 this summer after getting his first call up recently – although he has yet to make his debut for the A team.
