Galatasaray 0 – 3 Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor walked off to a standing ovation from the Galatasaray fans following an impressive 3-0 win at the Turk Telekom Arena.
Galatasaray were the side who got off to the better start and came close to taking the lead in the opening 30 minutes. However, Trabzonspor managed to gain a foothold in the game and were the superior side after half time.
Carl Medjani opened the scoring in the 58. minute with a well placed header and doubled the lead 76. minute with a tap in from a well worked corner. Yusuf Erdogan made Prandelli’s night worse with a goal in the 86. minute to make it 3-0.
Prandelli will feel the heat following his decision to drop star man Wesley Sneijder from the starting XI.
