Galatasaray have agreed personal terms with the Reading midfielder Jem Karacan according to Turkish-Football.com sources.
The 26-year-old is set to sign a three-year deal with the Istanbul Giants by the end of the week.
Karacan was in Istanbul to view the Galatasaray v Besiktas derby towards the end of May.
The 26-year-old Tweeted that he would be traveling to Istanbul then followed it up with a picture in the TT Arena along with the caption “#Gala.”

Karacan has been linked with Galatasaray in the past and the Lion’s could be on the look-out for a new midfielder with Yekta Kurtulus rumoured to be on his way out of the club.
