Galasaray are lucky to have Muslera says Hamzaoğlu [divider]

Galatasaray are lucky to have Fernando Muslera according to Hamza Hamzaoğlu.

The Galatasaray boss was full of praise for the Uruguayan international keeper following the 2-1 win over Eskişehirspor.

“We have a fantastic keeper, we are really lucky to have him in goal he keeps making great saves,” Hamzaoğlug told Lig Tv.

The experienced keeper joined Galatasaray from Lazio in a deal worth €12 million in 2011.

The 27-year-old played an integral role in the Lion’s back-to-back title winning seasons – 2011-13.

The Uruguayan international has also won the Copa America and finished the 2010 World Cup in fourth place for Uruguay.

Muslera has conceded 36 goals and only kept six clean sheets in 24 games this season.

Galatasaray closed the gap with leaders Beşiktaş to two points following the win over EsEs.

The Lions take on last placed Balıkesirspor at the Türk Telekom Arena on the weekend.

Galatasaray will win the league for a record 20th time if they lift the Süper Lig title this season.
