Galatasaray manager wants Bruma to stay in Istanbul despite being linked with moves to England and Portugal.
“Bruma is a very talented player, God willing he will become a great Galatasaray player,” Hamzaoğlu said.
“We have a young squad full of quality players, it is essential that we keep hold of our stars.
“I will play those who deserve it, there will no waiting on the sidelines, if you deserve to play you will play.
“I want Bruma to stay, our goal is to win trophies and hopefully he is a part of that.”
Hamzaoğlu played Bruma in his first game in charge, the Portuguese winger scored in Galatasaray’s 4-2 win against Eskişehirspor.
Bruma struggled for playing time under former manager Cesare Prandelli.
The 20-year-old winger only played 527 minutes of first team football under the former Italian national team manager.
