Galatasaray Hope Star Player Will Recover For Man United Champions League Clash

Galatasaray came from behind to beat Ankaragucu 2-1 in the Super Lig on Saturday in their final game before the UEFA Champions League clash against Manchester United.

There was one star name missing against Ankaragucu and that was Hakim Ziyech.

Ziyech is not injured but has struggled with his fitness was rested against Ankaragucu.

He picked up a knock in training ahead of the Istanbulspor game but has since recovered.

The Morocco international was rested as a precaution ahead of the United game but it is unknown whether he will be match fit yet. He is expected to travel with the squad to the UK.

Head coach Okan Buruk will be hoping to call on his star man but his replacement Tete has been in impressive form.

Tete actually provided a brace and scored in the 2-2 draw against Copenhagen on Match Day 1 in the Champions League Group A.

Ziyech is a player United will know from his time at Chelsea.

Another played United will be familiar with is Wilfried Zaha who started and scored his first goal of the season on the weekend.

Other than Ziyech, Galatasaray head into the United game with no injury concerns of suspensions.

Buruk is likely to have a full squad to pick from against of the match at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
