Galatasaray Not Interested in Keeping Tottenham Midfielder on Permanent Move

Tanguy Ndombele’s loan spell at Galatasaray appears unlikely to turn into a permanent move, as the Turkish club reportedly has “no intention” of exercising their purchase option according A Spor.

Ndombele joined Galatasaray last summer on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, aiming to reignite his career after struggling to impress under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Despite making 18 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig, Ndombele has found it difficult to secure a regular starting spot.

This lack of consistent playing time has seemingly convinced Galatasaray to forego the option to buy him permanently.

Ndombele is part of the team and has had spells where he has started regularly but it has been in spurts.

The midfielder still play an important role in the Galatasaray team this season as they are locked in the title race with rivals Fenerbahce.

With Galatasaray uninterested in a permanent transfer, Ndombele will likely return to Tottenham at the end of the season. His contract with the English club runs until 2025, leaving his future uncertain.

It remains to be seen if Ndombele can find a way back into Tottenham’s plans under Postecoglou. Alternatively, he might be loaned out again or even sold permanently if a suitable offer arises.
