Galatasaray offer Tottenham target Bruma bumper €2.5m extension

Galatasaray have offered their star winger Bruma a bumper new deal, sources close to the club have revealed to Turkish-Football.

Per the source, Galatasaray have set aside €2.5 million per season until 2022 for the Portuguese winger.

Burma’s current contract with the club expires in under 18 months.

Galatasaray do however, have their hands tied as to what they can currently offer Bruma. The Lions are still being monitored by UEFA in regards to their finances after being suspended from European competition for not meeting FFP guidelines.

The Istanbul giants must stay within budget if they want to avoid another one-year suspension.

Galatasaray are keen on signing a contract extension with Bruma as they want to include a release clause option which reflects their €20 million valuation.

Turkish-Football.com recently reported that Tottenham have been closely monitoring Bruma and are expected to make an end of season move.

However, Galatasaray are keen to keep hold of their star asset and want to sign Bruma up to a long term deal to avoid him leaving on the cheap.

The pacy winger is having his best season yet in a Galatasaray jersey with seven assists and seven goals in 25 apperances for the Lion’s so far.

Galatasaray currently find themselves in third place in the Turkish Super Lig, behind reigning champions Besiktas and Istanbul Basaksehir.

Tottenham are currently second in the Premier League, nine points off leaders Chelsea.
