Galatasaray’s transfer saga continues, with Christian Eriksen emerging as their latest midfield target according to Star.

The Yellow-Reds, having already bolstered other areas of the squad, are reportedly preparing a fresh offer for the Danish playmaker currently plying his trade at Manchester United.

Eriksen’s versatility, capable of operating behind the striker or in a deeper midfield role, has piqued Okan Buruk’s interest.

The Turkish manager envisions Eriksen complementing existing stars like Mertens and Ndombele, adding a touch of creativity and control to the Galatasaray engine room.

Their initial loan offer, however, was met with a swift rejection from United. Undeterred, Galatasaray appears ready to return with a more persuasive proposal.

This time, they are said to be considering a loan formula with an obligation to buy, aiming to entice the Red Devils with the prospect of securing a permanent transfer fee down the line.

Despite playing 19 games for United this season, contributing a goal and two assists, Eriksen hasn’t fully cemented his place in Erik ten Hag’s plans. Galatasaray, sensing an opportunity, hopes to capitalize on the uncertainty surrounding his future at Old Trafford.

Whether United will succumb to Galatasaray’s renewed advances remains to be seen. Eriksen himself, reportedly holding positive talks with the Turkish club, might hold the key to unlocking this transfer saga.

Galatasaray are keen on strengthening the squad over the winter transfer window in order to increase their chances of winning the title race against rivals Fenerbahce. The Lions are also competing in the Europa League.
