Galatasaray are considering making a loan bid for Aston Villa’s star forward Jordan Ayew. The Turkish sports outlet Fotospor have stated that the Istanbul Giants are on the look out for a new striker but are constrained by financial fair play regulations.
Fotospor goes onto state that the Ghana international wants to leave Aston Villa and is actively looking for a new club.
Galatasaray have been banned from playing in the Europa League next season due to a suspension from UEFA after the Istanbul Giants failed to comply with FFP rules. Galatasaray finished last season in seventh place and won the Turkish Cup.
Ayew joined Villa last summer and four years remaining on his contract with the Villans. The Ghana international was Aston Villa’s top scorer last season with seven goals in 36 games.
The 24-year-old recently joined Aston Villa for training ahead of their English Championship campaign next season.
