Galatasaray Roars Back into Europa League After Drawing Sparta Prague

Galatasaray are set to continue their European adventure in the Europa League’s Round of 16 after clawing their way back from the Champions League.

Drawn against Czech powerhouses Sparta Prague, the two titans will lock horns in a two-legged battle in the Europa League.

Galatasaray, having finished third in Champions League Group A, will play on their home turf on February 15th, eager to claim control of the tie before venturing to Prague for the second leg on February 22nd.

The Lions managed to take four points off Manchester United in the group stage and played well in both games against Bayern Munich despite losing.

The Istanbul giants bowed out in the final game against Copenhagen, losing 1-0 away; it was the only game they didn’t score in.

Copenhagen ended up finishing as runners up but they have drawn Manchester City in the next round of the Champions League.

The Lions will play with Czech side at home on Feb. 15, 2024, then at Prague on Feb. 22.

Meanwhile, the Europa League stage is set for other mouthwatering clashes.
