Galatasaray are preparing to table a bid of €3 million for Liverpool’s midfielder Lucas Leiva.
According to the Fanatik newspaper, Lions will make an offer for the Brazilian international if they are unable to sign Lassana Diarra.
The 29-year-old came close to joining Besiktas last season but was kept on but manager Brendan Rodgers following a long term injury to Jordan Henderson.
Lucas has one year remaining on this contract with Liverpool which may lead to the Reds cashing in. The Lion’s Istanbul rivals Besiktas have also been linked with Leiva according to the Mirror.
The Mirror goes onto stated that the Lucas could be on the verge of an exit from Liverpool as part of head coach Jurgen Klopp’s overhaul of the squad.
