Galatasaray has reignited their interest in Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, with the Turkish giants determined to secure his signature according to the Takvim.

Per the source, the Lions have drawn up a shortlist ahead of the summer transfer window and the Arsenal man is among their targets.

Jorginho is one of five players the Red-Yellows are targeting as part of their plans for next season.

The report claims that the Red-Yellows have entered talks with his representatives over a potential end of season move.

Jorginho has enjoyed a resurgence at Arsenal this season, becoming a key figure in their recent success. Despite having the option to extend his contract, Arsenal’s hesitation has opened the door for other clubs to enter the race.

The Brazilian midfielder has one goal and one assist in 28 games for the Gunners this term.

Previously linked to a return to Italy, particularly Juventus, Jorginho could now find himself joining a growing contingent of former Premier League stars in Turkey.

Reports suggest Galatasaray is at the forefront of this pursuit, having significantly intensified their efforts to land the experienced midfielder in recent weeks.

Galatasaray are currently locked in the title race with rivals Fenerbahce, they will book Champions League football next season if they do end up winning the Super Lig.
