Galatasaray still in talks with Stoke City over £14m star who joined Potters in January

Galatasaray have not given up hopes of signing Stoke City star midfielder, Badou Ndiaye.

The Senegal international only made the move to the Potters from Galatasaray back in January for £14 million.

Despite a string of impressive performances since his move, Ndiaye was unable to avert Stoke City’s relegation from the Premier League.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has instructed club officials to do their utmost to sign Ndiaye this summer.

Per the source, the experienced tactician is unhappy with his options in midfield going into the 2018/19 season.

The report goes onto state that Galatasaray will hold further talks with Stoke as they look to agree a loan deal for the Senegal international.

Fotomac also claim that Galatasaray are willing to wait until August 9 for Stoke City’s decision.

Ndiaye has also been linked with a move to Newcastle United and Wolves this summer.

The 27-year-old provided one assist and scored two goals in 13 Premier League appearances last season.
