Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Ryan Babel a source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football.

Babel is expected to sign a two-year contract deal with an option to extend by an additional season.

The Lions have been locked in talks with Babel since he became a free agent.

Fulham released the Netherlands international at the end of the season after signing him on a six-month move from Besiktas.

The 32-year-old scored five times and provided four assists in 16 appearances for the Premier League side who were unable to escape relegation.

Babel is no stranger to the Super Lig having played at Kasimpasa between 2013-15.

The former Liverpool man joined Besiktas in January 2017 until January 2019 lifting the Super Lig title during his stint at the club.

Babel will play for his former sides bitter rivals once his move to Galatasaray goes through.
