Galatasaray target Bafetimbi Gomis has stated that he may leave Swansea in January after a dispute with the club.
The French international has claimed that the Premier League side did not fulfil promises over playing time.
However, with the departure of Wilfred Bony to Manchester City, Gomis is now expected to be Swansea’s first choice striker.
The comments come just days after Gomis’s agent claimed Arsenal, Newcastle and Crystal Palace are interested in the France international. Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have also been linked with the 29-year-old over the past week.
The Lions are in the hunt for a new striker following the injury to Burak Yilmaz and the imminent departure of Goran Pandev.
Gomis joined Swansea from Lyon at the start of the season on a free transfer.
“When Bony was here, it was planned I should play a certain number of games, that wasn’t the case,” Gomis told the French TV channel Canal+.
“Today, I ask myself many questions. I need time to think.”
“I have been approached by clubs. I don’t know what will happen. Me leaving? It is possible.
“It is planned that my entourage will meet with Swansea’s representatives. Then I will have a discussion with my representatives to find the best solution.
“I want to stay abroad. It is true that I have had not a bad amount of approaches from clubs.”
