Concurrently, a strong link emerged between Galatasaray and Inter Milan’s Hakan Çalhanoğlu. “Cim Bom” (Galatasaray’s nickname) reportedly submitted an offer of €30 million to Inter, payable in three installments over three years.
The Italian club, however, countered with a demand for a €40 million upfront cash payment, initiating a bargaining phase. Following this development, Galatasaray has reportedly re-engaged in discussions for Bernardo Silva, urging the Portuguese superstar to put pressure on Manchester City regarding his transfer fee.
Galatasaray’s negotiating position with City is complicated by astronomical offers from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. Nevertheless, British media reports suggest Silva has no immediate plans to move to Saudi Arabia, which is seen as a potential advantage for the Turkish side.
