Galatasaray plan to use the occasion to hold talks with United over Van de Beek regarding a potential January move.
Van de Beek has been linked with a move to the Super Lig in the past but nothing materialised.
The Dutch midfielder has however, struggled for playing time this season having played just 21 minutes of competitive football this term.
The Lions are keen on strengthening the midfield with the potential of Champions League football after the winter break and the liklihood of still being in the title race domestically.
Van de Beek meanwhile, wants to get regular playing time in order to be in contention for making the Dutch national team ahead of Euro 2024.
The report claims that United value the 26-year-old as being worth €15m but that they could accept a lower offer as the manager Erik ten Stag has no plans for him.
Galatasaray are currently 3rd in the Champions League Group A tied on points with second placed Copenhagen and one point ahead of last placed United.
