Galatasaray Vice-President Spotted With Radamel Falcao In Monaco Amid Transfer Reports

Galatasaray vice-president Abdurrahim Albayrak was spotted with Colombia international Radamel Falcao in Monaco on Saturday.

A photograph went viral across social media networks today showing Albayrak posing with Falcao.

Turkish-Football reported that Albayrak and Galatasaray official Sukru Hanedar – in charge of foreign transfers – travelled to Monaco on Friday to hold talks with Falcao.

Negotiations have reached an advanced stage between Galatasaray and Monaco.

The Yellow-Reds also brought in agent Ahmet Bulut who has close ties to super agent Jorge Mendes – who represents Falcao – to broker a deal.

The reigning Super Lig champions hope to complete the transfer by Monday and bring Falcao to Istanbul.

Monday holds additional significance because it will be in the middle of the Eid festival.

Falcao admitted that he wants to play for Galatasaray in an interview with Fox Sports Colombia.

The experienced striker revealed that he hopes that the transfer will be completed as soon as possible.

“Playing for Galatasaray at this stage of my career would be really exciting,” he said.

“I hope they sort the transfer out as soon as possible.”

Galatasaray kick off their Super Lig campaign against Sivasspor on Friday 16 August.
