Galatasaray is planning to make two significant signings during the upcoming interim transfer window to replace Angelino and Tanguy Ndombele who are on loan from RB Leipzig and Tottenham, respectively.

The Milliyet newspaper report that Galatasaray are looking to replace Angelino and Tanguy Ndombele, who have not met expectations despite having only joined over the summer.

Ndombele has been heavily criticised for his poor form and being overweight.

This is not the first time the Turkish media have reported Galatasaray as wanting to terminate Ndombele’s contract in January but previous claims have been dismissed by manager Okan Buruk and the board.

The Milliyet claims that the Lions will be strengthening the left-back and midfield positions.

The newspaper reports that Buruk has indicated that he is not satisfied with the performances of Angelino and Ndombele, and the club is prepared to cut their loans short.

The scouting team has been instructed to identify suitable replacements, with a focus on players who can contribute both in the Champions League and the domestic league.

Buruk has also given his players an extra day off to rest and prepare for the upcoming match against Adana Demirspor.
