Three reasons why Arsenal should sign Fernando Muslera
The Galatasaray boss confirmed the news to Spor 3, stating that the club had to be careful with their finances.
“Robin van Persie is not on our agenda,” Hamzaoglu told Spor 3.
“The costs are very high. This year, we will be a little more careful.”
Van Persie has been closely linked with a move to Galatasaray and Lions board member Cüneyt Tanman was reported to have held talks with Van Perise’s agent last week.
Van Persie would be joining fellow Dutch national teammate Sneijder if he were to make the move. Sneijder has won two league titles with the Lions and also helped his side reach the Champions League quarter-finals in 2013-14.
Galatasaray finished the league season as champions and also lifted the Turkish Cup for their sixth double.
The Lion’s have also secured a place in the Champions League group stages next season.
