Everton held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on Sunday following Cenk Tosun’s dramatic last-gasp equalizer.

Tosun has struggled for playing time this term but this provide an assist last week in the Carabao Cup against Watford after being substituted on for the last 10 minutes.

Toffees boss Marco Silva decided to leave Tosun on the bench once again heading into the Tottenham clash.

Silva brought the Turkey international on for the final 22 minutes and the head coach was repaid with a very late equaliser.

Tosun met Lucas Digne’s cross with a powerful headed giving the Tottenham keeper no chance.

Football pundit Gary Lineker was full of praise for Tosun’s finish and felt a draw was a fair result – considering he played for both clubs as a footballer.

Tosun meanwhile, shared a post on his official Instagram account celebrating the goal which he dedicated to Andre Gomes who sustained a serious injury.

The 28-year-old striker followed this with a second post wishing for Gomes a speedy recovery.
