Germany international Lukas Podolski may have left Arsenal last summer but he has revealed that he is still a Gunner at heart.
Podolski shared a tweet on his official twitter account posing alongside his former Arsenal team-mates Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker – both also Germany international teammates – alongside the caption: “#redarmy #onceagunnerlawaysagunner”.
Ozil and Mertesacker are still of course Arsenal players and all three were called up to the Germany national team squad this summer.
Germany reached the semi-final stage only to be knocked out against France following a 2-0 defeat against the hosts.

Podolski was one of two Germany international players that currently play in the Super Lig with the other being Besiktas star Mario Gomez.
The former Arsenal man is expected to stay at Galatasaray next season after an impressive league and cup campaign.
The experienced striker scored the winning goal in the Lions Turkish Cup final win over arch rivals Fenerbahce.
