‘My goal is to play in the Premier League’ – £20m Tottenham & Newcastle target confirms he wants England move

Besiktas star Cenk Tosun has confirmed that he wants a Premier League move.

Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle are all in the race to sign Tosun according to Haberturk.

The interested parties may however, have to wait until the summer if they want to sign the prolific striker.

Tosun wants to stay at Besiktas until the end of the season and win the league title for a third successive season before he leaves.

“My goal is to play in the Premier League, in Europe, in my opinion it is the best league in the world,” Cenk was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“It is very physical, the best players in the world play there.

“My mission right now is to win the the league again and then it comes down to what the boss wants.

“If he wants to stay I will stay for years but he could sell me for a high fee, we will see.

“Currently I am focused on winning the league title.”

Besiktas value Tosun as being worth £20 million but club president Firket Orman has said that fee may not be enough anymore.

The 26-year-old does have another two-years on his contract.

Tosun played an important role in Besiktas winning the league title for the past two seasons.

The forward has 10 goals in 15 games this season including four Champions League goals and one assist in the elite European competition.

Tosun became the highest scoring Besiktas player in the Champions League after netting in the 1-1 draw against Monaco last week.
