Group D Injury Update: Reus out, Giroud back for Arsenal, Dzemaili out for Lions [divider]
Galatasaray will be without Blerim Dzemaili and Hakan Balta for their Champions League Group D clash against Anderlecht.
Dzemaili picked up an injury while on international duty and Balta suffered a blow on the weekend during Galatasaray’s 3-0 loss against Trabzonspor.
Anderlecht could be without Matias Suarez, Bram Nuytinck and captain Steven Defour.
Borussia Dortmund’s injury woes continue following injury to Marco Reus who has been ruled out for the rest of the year.
Jurgen Klopp could also be without Sven Bender, Mats Hummels, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Nuri Şahin for Wednesday’s game against Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger is waiting for an injury update for Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny, both had to be substituted from their 2-1 league defeat to Manchester United on Saturday.
David Ospina, Laurent Koscielny, Abou Diaby, Mathieu Debuchy and Mesut Özil are all out injured.
Wenger will however, welcome the return of Oliver Giroud who has recovered and scored on the weekend against United.
Dortmund are currently first in Group D with 12 points, Arsenal are second on 7 points, Anderlecht third with 2 points and Galatasaray last with just a singe point after four games.
