Gülüm will not however, feature next Thursday due to picking up an automatic suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.

The Turkish international was shown a yellow card in the first-leg and will miss the second leg along with Ramon Motta.

“We are disappointed of course, we wanted a win or at least a draw but we performed well and executed our game plan,” Gülüm told the official Beşiktaş website.

“Liverpool needed a penalty to beat us, that gives us confidence.

“If we play like this in the second leg we have a good chance at going through.”

Beşiktaş are currently 1st in the Süper Lig on 47 points and take on Eskişehirspor on the weekend.

The Black Eagles will then take on Liverpool for the return-leg at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
