Gundogan Urges Man City To ‘Come Back’ From ‘Painful Loss’ Against Arsenal Ahead Of League Cup

Manchester City were dumped out of the FA Cup by Wigan on Monday after a rare defeat.

City star Ilkay Gundogan has responded to the loss on his official Twitter account.

The midfielder of Turkish origin urged his teammates to prove themselves again and take on the ‘next challenge’ which is ‘waiting already’.

The quadruple may be off the cards but the treble is still a possibility.

The Citizens will be able to get their hands on some early silverware if they beat Arsenal in the Carabao Cup at Wembley.

Gundogan has been in impressive form for City starting their last six games in all competitions.

The 27-year-old put on a stellar display in the 5-0 victory over Basel in the Champions League Last 16 first-leg tie last week scoring a brace in Switzerland.

The Germany international is expected to keep his place in the team heading into the Arsenal clash.
