Not everyone was best pleased with Can’s display, to be fair most Liverpool fans were not impressed with any players in the team.
Emre Can’s ability to control a game is pathetic. He wants assurances of playing defensive midfield when he’s much better as an 8. Liverpool are right not to offer him a new deal with these promises when he’s not good enough. They would do well to replace with Diawara.

Liverpool fans seemed pleased with the way Can kept Alexis Sanchez out of the game. To be fair I did not even know the Chile international was on the field at times. He had a very quiet game. Had the Reds gone onto at least take a point I get the feeling one of the main talking points would have been Can nullifying the highly paid January arrival.
