‘He has a bit of Ozil in his play’ – Arsenal fans roast Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Arsenal fans have taken to social media to criticise the performance of Jeff Reine-Adelaide.

The youngster started for the Gunners during their clash with Sutton United but failed to impress the traveling supporters.

Arsenal ended up winning the game 2-0 however, Reine-Adelaide – who was playing in Mesut Ozil’s position – failed to score or provide an assist.

The 19-year-old was taken off in the 74th minute and replaced with Maitland-Niles.

Arsenal fans took to social media after the game to slam Reine-Adelaide and even compared him to Ozil.

Reine-Adelaide joined Arsenal from RC Lens for £2.1 million back in 2015. The 19-year-old is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Gunners this season.

Ozil was rested for Tuesday’s game and has decided to take a break in Istanbul this week.
