‘He is not better than Fellaini’ – Man United fans react to reports that Liverpool star Emre Can could be on his way to Old Trafford
Liverpool star Emre Can continues to face an uncertain future due to his contract situation.
The 23-year-old has under 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign a new deal.
Unless the Reds sort out his contract situation they face to possibility of losing Can as a free transfer.
Liverpool rivals Manchester United became the latest club to be linked with the midfielder of Turkish origin.
Italian outlet Tuttosport reported Jose Mourinho sent chief scout Javier Ribalta to watch the Can play for Germany as he considers replacements for Michael Carrick.

Most United fans do not appear convinced that Can will be joining, or that he is required.

Considering Can could be available on a free not all United fans are against the idea.
Will be a free agent .. we dont have to negotiate with Liverpool only the player so its not as implausible we are in for him

United do have a surplus of midfielders in the role that Can would play although it is worth nothing that the 23-year-old is versatile and can play in multiple positions.
Why it’s funny is because where will he play in our squad?even Herrera is being benched and is way better than Can

He would add to an already physically imposing United side with the likes of Pogba, Fellaini, Matic already in midfield and Lukaku upfront.
I don’t know how United will lose any aerial duels if Emre Can join Utd.
