‘He scores like 20 goals and gets sold’ – Man City fans react to Enes Unal being sold to Villarreal for £12m on social media
Manchester City have struck a £12 million deal with Villarreal over the transfer of Enes Unal according to Turkish-Football.
The deal includes a £17.5 million buyback clause in the deal.
Unal has agreed to sign for the La Liga outfit on a four-year deal.
The rising star did however, have an impressive season on loan at FC Twente scoring 19 times in all competitions.
City fans were left baffled by the decision to sell the 20-year-old considering his form.
It is worth underlining that City do have a buyback clause if Unal does reach his potential in Spain.
I look at the deal as a win-win for all involved. City have basically allowed Villarreal to give Unal a shot at the highest level for a substantial fee.
Should the 20-year-old reach his potential City have a buyback clause which will serve like a development fee for Villarreal who did the hard work.
Should Unal not turn out as expected City would still have made a profit on him.

I don’t get city’s youth policy. We sign enes unal and put him on loan, he scores like 20 goals and gets sold. What would it take for him

Why are we not giving our young ones a chance

Still don’t get why it’s great business having a buy back of 25 million why not make it 15 million a joke for me we should have loaned him
