‘He Will Realise The Taste Of Derbies’ – Former Liverpool Star Reacts To Cenk Tosun Joining Everton
Martin Skrtel knows all about the Everton – Liverpool rivalry form his time playing for the Reds.
Skrtel gave his reaction to Cenk Tosun joining the Toffees from Besiktas last week at a press conference held today at the Antalya, Belek Tourism Centre.
Tosun played for Skrtel’s rivals in Turkey and will now be the star man for his former rivals Everton.
The Slovakia international praised his former adversary and revealed that the striker is capable of playing Premier League football.
Skrtel also stated that Tosun is in store for a treat when he plays in the Merseyside derby.

“He showed his quality here in Turkey and he can do it in England,” Skrtel said.
“He moved to one of Liverpool’s biggest rivals and he will realize the taste of derbies in Liverpool against Everton.
“It will be a great experience for him and he will play in the best league in the world.
“We will see how he does there.”
Tosun almost signed in time for the derby last Friday but did not register with the FA in time.
The Turkey international shone in his last major derby putting on a man of the match display against Galatasaray, scoring once in the 3-0 win over the Black Eagles Istanbul rivals.
The 26-year-old will have to wait until March 7 2018 for the next Merseyside derby.
Tosun is expected to make his debut against Tottenham at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
