‘Hopefully for your birthday you get a back bone’ – Arsenal fans react to Mesut Ozil’s special day on social media
Mesut Ozil celebrated his 29th birthday on Sunday 14 October with a 2-1 defeat against Watford.
Ozil’s birthday celebrations took a backseat to the surprise away defeat.
The 2014 World Cup winner did take to social media to send out a birthday message but it drew a mixed response from his fans.
Ozil has now been at Arsenal for three-years since joining from Real Madrid on in 2013 and has gone gone win three FA Cup trophies.
