Everton were held to a goalless draw against Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Turkey international star Cenk Tosun started for the Toffees but was unable to add to his goal or assist tally – he did however, come close taking two shots against the visitors.
Tosun has four goals for his new side since joining Everton in January.
The 26-year-old joined the Merseyside based outfit over the winter transfer window having already scored 14 goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Besiktas before making the move.
We took a look at how Everton fans reacted to Tosun’s display on social media.

Cenk Tosun, whose last local derby was Besiktas vs Galatasaray, with five red cards, must be wondering if he turned up at the wrong ground today.

This really is a problem Big Sam needs to solve.
Interesting reaction from Cenk Tosun then. Milner passed ball beyond him, no support anywhere to be seen. Waved his arm, shook his head. Thankless task being a forward in this team ?

Cenk tosun screaming at the bench for help an they all shrugged their shoulders. Spoke volumes that

Tosun visibly annoyed with midfield for not getting closer to him. He’s got a point

Totally isolated, I feel for the lad.

Tosun did come close to scoring.
Fine margins today. If Calvert-Lewin or Tosun score then chances we win. Rooney can fuck off the knobhead. Coleman is boss. Liverpool are shite without Salah. I just want this season over now. Forza Fonseca

Thoughts?
Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott, Gana and Jordan Pickford are probably the four players in our team who will stick around in the next five years

Super chance for Everton, but they’re intent on Tosun away their chances of victory.
