Premier League side Newcastle United have been closely linked with a move for Galatasaray star Garry Rodrigues.
According to reports in the Turkish press last week, the Magpies had two bids rejected for the pacy winger.
Rodrigues was once again the star of the show despite Galatasaray’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Kasimpasa.
The Cape Verde international – who was born in the Netherlands – scored a contender for goal of the season in the first half to put his side 1-0 ahead.
Following the game the 27-year-old was asked by reporters regarding a potential move to Newcastle.
According to Fotomac, Rodrigues responded by stating, “I will not go for less than €15m.”
