‘If Ozil had half of what Dele Alli has got’ former Arsenal star makes astonishing Tottenham comparison
Former Arsenal star Lee Dixon has made an astonishing statement live on ITV regarding Mesut Ozil.
Despite Ozil winning the World Cup, La Liga and being regarded as one of the top midfielder’s in Europe, Dixon believes Ozil has allot to learn from Dele Alli.
Dixon stated that Ozil will be ‘ten times’ the player he is if he adopted Dele Alli’s nasty streak.

“He’s playing in the first team long-term because he’s doing something right,” Dixon stated live on ITV during England’s defeat to Germany.
“The fact that he’s come into the Tottenham team and they’re building a team around him, his talent is unlimited.
“If he [Mesut Ozil] had half of what Dele Alli has got, that nasty streak, he would be ten times a better player than he is because he hasn’t got what Dele Alli has.”
Alli’s ‘nasty streak’ cost Tottenham their place in the Europa League earlier this season with this shocking challenge.

Alli has however been in stunning form for Tottenham in the Premier League. The England international has racked up 14 goals and four assists for Spurs this season.
In contrast, Ozil has had a muted season so far. The 28-year-old has just five assists and five goals in the league this term.
Arsenal take on Manchester City in their next Premier League fixture. Tottenham meanwhile will face Burnley FC at the Turf Moor.
