could be set to switch Liverpool for Fenerbahce, according to reports in Turkey.
The Dutch midfielder’s place in the side has come under threat following the signings of Naby Keita and Fabinho from RB Leipzig and Monaco respectively.
According to A Spor, the 27-year-old has been given the green light to sign for the Yellow Canaries.
Wijnaldum would be teaming up with former PSV manager Phillip Cocu who recently took charge of Fenerbahce if the move were to go ahead.
Most Liverpool fans do not appear to want to see Wijnaldum leave but see him as a useful squad player.
Is Wijnaldum happy with his role? could he be seeking a fresh start as a star midfielder? we will find out soon enough.
