Arsenal centre-back Shkodran Mustafi has been linked with a shock move to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray in recent weeks.
The Istanbul Giants are on the hunt for a new centre-back following the departure of Jason Denayer over the summer.
The Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that Arsenal will look to loan Mustafi out unless they can offload him on a permanent deal.
Per the source, Arsenal value the Germany international at £22.3 million.
Fanatik goes onto state that the newly appointed Arsenal manager Unai Emery is not a fan of Mustafi.
Amid talk of Mustafi’s exit from the Emirates after two years, several Arsenal fans took to social media to express their views on the matter.
The view appears to be split with a lot of fans urging the club to sell Mustafi and bring in a replacement while some believe that the Germany international can excel under Emery.

Really? Wtf why would we even be considering this deal now? We have 8 days left, who are we going to get now to replace him? I wouldn’t sell now

I think Mustafi is a lot better than Sokratis, I ca't understand why people want him sold.

Realistically though, who are we going to go out and replace Mustafi with – with just £23 million? Any half decent CB costs £35 million+ nowadays
— Gaming Akhtar Style (@GameAkhtarStyle) August 2, 2018
23 euros more like it – worst defender in history

Mustafi joined Arsenal from Valencia back in July 2016 in a deal worth £35 million. The 26-year-old provided two assists and scored three goals in 38 appearances for the Gunners last season.
Arsenal take on the reigning Premier League champions Man City next weekend in their opening game of the 2018/19 season.
